Our Team

Amalia is a native-Californian and HBCU alumna of Oakwood University. After hearing the call to ministry at the tender age of twelve, she has served as a full-time pastor over the last five years. As a pastor, she believes that she is called to help people grow to be emotionally healthy disciples, curious learners of Scripture and Adventism, and safe spaces of belonging for a diverse Kingdom and community. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, and going to the beach. She is married to Josemiguel Marin, who serves as a hospital chaplain at AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway.
